Raised my E-TEC up to the third hole and fitted a Rogue prop. ![]() I bought the cable and "T" connectors and networked my E-TEC into my Lowrance. Turns out my "System Check Tach was not reading correctly. The only way I found out I my tach was reading off, was I put my numbers into a "prop slip formula" and got a result of negative slip. At least if you know what's going on you, you know when you're being lied to. Does it start when you turn the key? Does it move your boat through the water? then have a Coke and a Smile and shut up don't bother me. There are just so many dealers who have this kind of attitude: That's good enough. If all dealers were like Craig at Huet Marine (Huey) and Joe at Barnacle Bills (Evinrude) the consumer would not need the software.
